The answer to lasting world peace is not in theology or following a certain religion, rather in two simple words: ‘selfless love’ and it cannot be acquired without the mind getting anchored in the heart and attaining the consciousness of one’s spiritual self. A true philanthropist is one who has developed the love of humanity in his heart through his development of spiritual consciousness. It does not need the help of the multitudes to take up spiritual life to secure world peace, all it takes is one strong person who can lead the path of truth and hold up the candle of light for the innumerable souls to find their way through the darkness, his life serves as a beacon for many, it could be a Gandhi, Martin Luther King, Mother Teresa, Dalai Lama, Steve Jobs, Bill Gates or Warren Buffet. We, each one of us can be the candle of guiding light to the world. For every rhythm in the mind there is a corresponding pulsation in the heart; for every beat in the heart there is a corresponding equal emotion; when we cannot handle mind directly, we can handle the mind through every beat of our heart, for any problem anywhere on this planet, we can solve it through the faculty of the mind anchored in the heart, or letting our hearts rule the mind. It is through this heart that we can appreciate each other, in spite of our diversity of color, creed, religion, national origin and create love all around, with mutual respect and tolerance.
I believe in the evolution of our higher consciousness, and heart is the beginning of the understanding, which is also the beginning of the trust and faith in a higher power; which is the beginning of unity, of oneness of human race and the beginning of peace and prosperity, replacing hurt, violence and disunity. The goal is to awaken the super?mind, the essence of god in us and to see the god in us with the eyes of god and feeling the presence of God, in everything we do, from dawn to dusk, and to embrace life protecting all forms of life on earth including the echo-system of our planet.
One common thing in all religions is love; every path leads to love; there is no single path to love and caring; but they all start from the heart. “Whichever path you approach Me; I will be there to meet you, ” says Krishna in Gita.
What we need is to understand the oneness of mankind, seeing the world as one civilization, honoring goodness in each religion and treating each life sacred and knowing one light of truth and unity equally in all body temples. This is the understanding that love is at the base of all religions and that heart is where we are bound together as sweetness in sugar or white light in rainbow colors.
Start your day filled with feelings of love, gratitude and abundance in your heart. If there is any God in this Universe, this is the only way to reach Him. Love of others and as you love yourself, is the way to Moksha or Nirvana or Liberation or world peace. Everyone on this planet needs to know the simple truth; to live from the wisdom of your heart; the only religion you need to practice is the religion of love, we are together on this planet as one for all; humans, birds, beast, plant and mineral kingdom. There is no God that resides in the 7th Heaven, overlooking everything you are doing; god is you, god is life, god is in your noble intentions, god is in the breath of your breath, god is living through you. Think god and you become god. Live the way you think god lives…the way god thinks…the way god conducts…the way god speaks. All you have to do to become god is to transcend your limited self. Refrain from using your power to hurt others; you will be hurting yourself only as you are part of the universal oneness. The Universal Spirit resides everywhere, including in your heart; don’t go looking for it around the world; It pulsates in every beat of your heart. There would be only one word that holds the secret for world peace, each one of us on this planet has the power to uncover that in his or her own heart and that secret word is love. How to achieve lasting peace on this planet is the burning question of the day. The best minds of the world have thought about this; leaders of the leading nations have not been able to come up with anything tangible that will prevent break out of future wars.
Maintaining peace by force is like giving continuous medicine to a sick person. What kind of health that would be, that depends solely upon the continuous intake of medicine to maintain good health! Like medicine cannot cure or heal permanently any disease from the body; similarly huge military force cannot conquer the hearts. Cruelty, violence or force cannot win the hearts and minds of suffering people…only pure love emanating from the eternal springs of the heart, can heal and cure humanity. What the human heart needs, is the desire for peace, not enforced by the force of arsenals, or by any kind of manipulation by power hungry nations or big brother political alliances; rather by of the eternal springs of kindness, compassion and love, springing from the heart.
