It is based on well established medical and historical facts and a look at the bigger picture of life.
First of all, here are some basic medical facts:
The highest concentrations of valuable chemicals in the body are contained in the male semen (see Wikipedia). Just why this is so is a bit of a mystery when looked at superficially, since the primary purpose of seminal fluid is only to provide a vehicle for semen. While it has been proven that women absorb some of these valuable chemicals from the male in coitus, it may also be reasonable to assume that if not frequently spent in sex they become available for mental and bodily development. As prostaglandins are produced in the male's seminal vehicles, very large amounts are in semen.
Men "waste" more prostaglandins in a single emission than women produce in a day in their entire body. Prostaglandins are one of the most refined of the body's products and women absorb these "super-chemicals" from males. An ounce of semen has been found to be basically the concentration of the most valuable chemicals from 60 ounces of blood. No two tissues in the body show greater similarity in their lecithin, colesterin and phosphorous contents than the brain and semen. Semen has proportionally more fructose, citric acid, semenine and prostaglandins than any other tissue in the body. It is also richer than most any other tissue in zinc, ascorbic acid, inositol, glyceryl, phosphory-choline and free amino acids.
It has 33 times the neutral amino acids, 28 times the acidic amino acids and 57 times the basic amino acids as the blood.
Historic facts about male semen related traditions:
1. Symbols of the human reproductory organs - phallus and vagina - have been worshipped by all the ancients. Traditional medicine in many countries attributed transformative powers to them and often termed human semen "universal medicine," "elixir," or "philosopher's stone."
2. Multiple evidence is available showing that male semen has been used as homeopatic medicine and revitalization of the human organism since the dawn of time.
3. The literature on the subject reveals that the feedback of reproductive cells for the regulation or quick revitalization of the human organism was also recommended by folk medicine and alchemy as something closely related to "living water". It is only in modern time that such healing properties are conceived of as one of the miracles of water - the basis of all biological life on Earth, the main "substance" in the physical body of all living creatures - blood, lymph, brain fluid, saliva, urine, semen, even bones. Water already has been proven to be the main source of bio-energy and human consciousness.
4. Take a look at the picture below. This is another piece of interesting evidence that is either unknown (except by some egyptologists) or is just disregarded. This illustration is on one of the walls of the tomb of Ramses the Sixth (20th dynasty) in the valley of kings in Egypt. It can be found on the right hand side wall of the upper J level, right in the center. The figure on it is painted in yellow and the phallus is dripping sperm on smaller human figures.
The above picture is a fragment from the famous Book of the Earth, part A, scene 7 depicting one of the alien Gods (Annunaki or Nephilim as claimed in Shumerian myths to have created humanoids on the basis of the human race - watch the movie below).
What remains to be verified is if it represents a crucial historical fact or a superstitious belief.

2. Christ partook of his own semen to show that "we must so do, that we may live."

Abundant evidence exists about Pagans, Shumerians, Indian yogi, Egyptians, Thracians, Greeks, Jews, Christians, Muslims and modern day Gnostics all of whom have somehow used the healing properties of male semen.
PAGANS
The rituals performed in Ugaritic worship involved a great deal of alcohol and sexual promiscuity. Worship at Ugarit was essentially a drunken orgy in which priests and worshippers indulged in excessive drinking and excessive sexuality. This because the worshippers were attempting to convince Baal to send rain on their crops. Since rain and semen were seen in the ancient world as the same thing (as both produced fruit), it simply makes sense that participants in fertility religion behaved this way. Perhaps this is why in Hebrew religion the priests were forbidden to partake of wine while performing any rituals and also why females were barred from the precincts!! (cf. Hos 4:11-14, Is 28:7-8, and Lev 10:8-11).

In ancient Shumer, the word "abzu" meant both semen and water, where the chief deity Enki was eternally venerated by drinking semen. A stanza from "The Courtship of Inanna and Dumuzi" [Shumerian poetry, 3000 BCE] reads, "Make your milk sweet and thick, my bridegroom; my shepherd, I will drink your fresh milk.

Indian Culture on Sex
Tantric sex is rooted in Indian culture and traditions.
When the goddess Shakhti, embodying the feminine, and the god Shiva, embodying the masculine, are joined as one in their fusion, the cosmos is born. The cosmos is born out of an erotic union between the male and the female.
Sex is often perceived as something hidden, dirty and forbidden. Even worse, it is perceived as a sin and gives rise to a poisonous feeling of guilt! Although that’s exactly what makes it so interesting, it’s also the reason that brings so much violence into sex and its misuse. Religion has greatly contributed to this unhappy state of affairs. Other cultures have not imposed similar taboos. Of course, there are also other reasons for the existing taboos or misunderstandings, especially about free sex. Some of the critics have focused awareness on one of the major negative social effects of free sex - it has led us to an enormous world population of 7 Billion - a heavy burden on the natural resources of our planet as well as such "side-effects" like AIDS. However, tantric sex is precisely the path to solving this problem...
The Indian seer Osho is one of the best known proponents of tantric (spiritual) sex as well as one of the most outspoken critics of sex related social taboos.
Every religion is against me. Their profession depends on condemning love and praising meditation. They know you cannot attain to meditation, and they know now your love is condemned, it is a sin. You will never experience any orgasmic phenomenon, so meditation will remain just a philosophy, and your life will remain loveless, angry, full of rage, ready to explode at any excuse. Because where will your energy go?
It could have become peace, silence, joy, blissfulness. You did not allow it to become that. That repressed energy turns into poison. That's why everybody is irritable, annoyed, worried, tense. The simple reason is that they have lost the natural source of relaxation.
No animal looks irritated, annoyed, angry, because they don't understand the language the priests speak.
They have never heard that celibacy is spiritual. Of course they cannot attain to meditation, but they are far better than those human beings who could have attained meditative heights, but have lost even the simple biological experience of orgasm.
What actually happens when one couple moves into the realm of orgasmic experience? What actually happens? Every point has to be understood. Time stops. For a moment the pendulum does not move, and that single moment seems to be almost eternity. The two persons are no more two ― for a moment. They have melted into each other. There is no thought in the mind, for a moment. It is all empty and silent, and these are the things which have to be deepened in meditation.
And once you have tasted them, you will be surprised that it does not depend on the other person. Something happens within you. Something happens within the other person. But it is not dependent. If you can sit silently, if you can manage, by watching your thoughts, to bring a gap, a stop, you will suddenly see time has stopped again. And now it is in your hands, not in the hands of biology. You can keep this time stopped as long as you want. And once you know the secret key...
A famous modern day disciple of Osho - Margo Anand has called sexual fusion "a much more juicy perspective than the one that tells us to honor the prophet who was nailed on the cross to redeem our sins. This is spirituality based on pain and punishment"
In one of her books "The Art of Sexual Magic" she combines tantric sexual techniques with a unique method of projecting a visualized object of desire into the "astral network" at the moment of orgasm. "It is in these moments of expanded consciousness that you can project a vision of your goal, your creation, into the harmonious fabric of the universe that surrounds you. In ecstasy, you come very close to the universal source, the creative womb out of which all things arise.
One myth relates how this god was tricked into consuming his rival's semen, which was hidden in a cos lettuce, an aphrodisiac plant sacred to him. Sometimes associated with the Semitic goddesses Anat and Astarte rather than his sister/consort, he was considered the patron of the Ramessides because they, like him, were red-haired. One account states that after being defeated by his nephew, he became the voice of thunder and lived with Ra. The son of Geb and Nut, this god took his sister Nephthys as a consort. The Chemarim priest in receiving the seed and the heterosexual in giving the seed in prayer to a fertility god, had nothing what so ever to do with homosexuality, Leviticus 18: 22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination. Thou shalt not lie with Chemarim priests of Molech (Baal) as with womankind, to give seed to Molech, which is idolatry an abomination, and does nothing to build the nation to God. Again these verses have nothing to do with homosexuality.
Ancient Gnostics have followers in modern day. Since the turn of the present century, the most famous group has organized itself as a quasi freemasonry organization, called Ordo Templi Orientis, in short:For his Holy Host Crowley gave a recipe using blood and semen. In order to avoid a HIV-infection the current American O.T.O. (the 1977- founded "Caliphate") advises to bake the host at 160 degree Fahrenheit in the oven. The IXth becomes a parody of the Christian Eucharist with further refinements of the techniques related to the consumption of the Elixir/Host.
Absorption occurs through the mucous membrane of the roof of the mouth, rather than swallowing it because the delicate protein fabric enveloping the essence will get broken down by the acids of the digestive system before it has had a chance to integrate into the mind-body symbiosis. In the case of the mouth there is the digestive activity of the saliva. This must also affect the "delicate protein fabric enveloping the essence" to some degree, the longer it is kept in the mouth. Some Gnostics now see the semen as universal medicine to heal everything. Others put their semen into a mouthful of brandy to make it more tasty. Spiritus Sanctus?
Modern science about the healing potential of sexual energy
The Big O is not Orgasm
Researchers are always seeking answers to fundamental questions about illness: "What is the cause of cancer?", "How does stress damage your cells and organs?", "What causes plaque to build up inside your arteries?", "What is the mechanism by which love and affection positively affect health?"
Modern day medical science answer to this question is oxytocin. Oxytocin is a hormone and neurotransmitter. Once believed to confine its effects to inducing labor and milk ejection, oxytocin actually has far-reaching effects on both sexes. You could not fall in love without it. These days it goes by nicknames such as "the bonding hormone," "the cuddle hormone," and even "the love hormone."
Oxytocin is the "chemical explanation" of the little known ancient art of Tantric (spiritual) sex - multiple orgasms without the waste of energy (ejaculation). Both tantric sex and high levels of oxytocin lead to enhanced relationships, spiritual growth and health. Male-female relationships stay light-hearted, romantic and harmonic. And, as modern day people become increasingly aware of "the Big 'O', love based connections grow stronger and healthier.
You may like or dislike this kind of stuff but it has existed,exists and will exist in spite of moral, religious or any other beliefs and prejudices because it is a part of the simple truthabout life on Earth.

PHYSICAL AND SPIRITUAL LOVE
Love has many manifestations and sex or physical love is one of them. M. Leitman - the greatest kabbalist today - was asked:
"Is it true that young people think about sex every 90 seconds?" His immediate reply was:
"No. Not every 90 seconds but all the time. Sex is the basis of all our thoughts, because its root is the soul's union with the Creator. This union is the final goal of Nature, and everything that happens in the world is determined by the final goal. This is why we just can't avoid thinking about sex. Our attraction to the opposite sex and to pleasure also come from this final state - the adhesion with the Creator, called "Zivug" (never-ending sexual union)."
Love is the most powerful force in the Universe, the ultimate source of energy and the main tool of the Creator. Look at a growing seed penetrating asphalt or the tons of water flowing upward the branches of a tree, or a female protecting her child! Everything in the world lives in Love and by Love. All worlds, throughout eternity, have come forth and shall come forth from the Source of Love. Everything that we see - stellar systems, suns, planets - they all are manifestations of Love. It is the key which opens everything that is closed.
